Detecting Species on the Move

Effective policy and management related to “species on the move” require monitoring and data analysis. In this session, we present three cutting-edge approaches to monitor species distributions or movement that vary widely (wildly!). Please join us to hear from Professor Holly Gibbs (satellite and big data), Professor Thea Whitman (microbiome and molecular biology) and Professor Zuzana Buřivalová (acoustic ecology). You will learn about a mind-bending blend of spatial scales and techniques!
