Claudia Cabrera Espinosa (Mexico City, 1984) holds a PhD in literature from National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a master’s degree in Literary Editing from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She is the author of the short story books Las ondulaciones del mar (2020) and Posibilidad de los mundos (Premio José Emilio Pacheco 2019), and the children’s books El cuaderno de Ana (2012) and Una historia de aventis (2012). She received a scholarship from the Programa Jóvenes Creadores del Fonca, in the Short Story category, in 2014.

Her short stories have been published in anthologies such as El espejo de Beatriz II, Acapulco en su tinta II and Tentación de decir. She is a member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers, a postdoctoral fellow at El Colegio de México and teaches Spanish Literature at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UNAM.
