Eric Carson

Eric Carson is a geologist with the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey and professor in UW-Madison Division of Extension. His research investigates the record of the last glacial cycle in Wisconsin; geologic and hydrologic processes associated with rivers along former glacial margins; and stream-driven evolution of landscape over timescales of thousands to tens of millions of years. His field research has been focused in the upper Mississippi and Wisconsin River basins in Wisconsin and in the upper Colorado River basin in northeastern Utah.
